Choose an already existing brand/company and redesign its website. Keep the original name and logo of the company.
Steering the brand in a direction that is more available and desirable to a younger audience is key to Callaway’s future success. People in their early 20s and 30s are taking up golf as a method of networking. Creating a brand that would appeal to them while keeping its old cores values for already loyal customers will be a key aspect. My site redesign features a new interactive homepage that highlights key products. Upon selecting one of these items, the section will then expand and reveal product information without having to navigate to a separate page. A lot of technology is involved with modern golf equipment. Highlighting this innovative technology throughout the website will attract customers looking for the best-designed clubs and accessories. Displaying this information in a visually appealing design and educating the visitor in an understandable manner was something that I instilled in the new product information sections. The new site resign has a Callaway Golf Community where customers of all walks of life (age, occupation, gender, etc.) can interact and possibly learn from one another. The new community allows customers to share tips, scores, reviews and even the option to network among other visitors.
