Create a microsite for a company of your choosing.
SOLUTION:
I chose to design a microsite for Dickblick.com, a major art supply store that is well known for selling a large variety of artist tools and equipment at low prices. The site is a one-stop-shop for everything an artist could need, so I thought it would be fun to create a microsite that allowed customers the ability to customize their studio space in a virtual world. The customer choses a basic layout, puts in the dimensions of their space, and then searches through the categories to find the products they want. At the end, they have the option of adding the products to their cart for purchase or to a wishlist. When placing products in the studio space, customers can visualize how that piece would fit in their studio space based on the dimensions of the item within their studio dimensions.
