This young tech startup leverages online technology and social media to serve as a bridge between students and universities. Ergo, the brand, website, and collateral work that we designed for them needed to speak to both audiences of young coeds and mature academicians. And the website had to tell their story and invite universities to partner with them.
Given the dichotomous audience, we designed a mark in two parts: one half being more traditional and the other more progressive. The same characteristics are true for the logotype, which employs serif type, as old typeface would, with a softened overall look. The playful collateral remained relevant given the smart, clean design. Skate deck, anyone?
