Vanharten

Vanharten, a dutch fashion and product design brand asked me to design their new website. They wanted to have a fresh, contemporary and modern look. I was asked to re-define their logo and to come up with a visual style. The first element I was inspired by is the design of their garments. They develop modern, layered garments with almost transparent fabrics. The framework of the text is in several cases placed over the image, this creates this kind of layered feeling. The second element I used is part of their logo: the horizontally flipped ‘n’. You can see this effect in the hoover for the images. The third element I picked was the bright blue color. It would enhance their collections because the RGB kobalt had a big contrast with the colours they normally used.
